In this episode, Ric takes a look at the relationship between the city and its money maker and how it would appear to the outsider that for the most part will, at times and for no real reason, ignore some of the things happening here.

In a recent broadcast of Booze & Blues on Radio Memphis, Ric welcomed to the show Robert Gordon. Robert is an author and film-maker of documentaries. His latest book is about Stax and Memphis music. He also has a film in theaters now about William F. Buckley and Gore Vidal called Best of Enemies. In this episode they talk about all these things plus you'll hear the story of the ghosts of Stax and hear some music that was left behind.

If Facebook was an actual physical place, Ric set foot in this "place". Along the way, he also found himself in a shopping mall that was at one time one of the busiest places around. Times have changed. For better or worse? Online consumerism has taken the lead. People being people and all, there is a noticeable void except for the one place that is the physical equivalent of Facebook. It's desperate, sad and kind of terrifying.
